Here at Blacky’s BNB our entire team believes that our customers’ needs are of the utmost importance.
Established in July 2013, Blacky’s BnB is one of Bangalore’s best overnight care, day care, training and more. We currently serve Bangalore Whitefield and the surrounding area. Whether you have dog or a cat we are here for you !
What makes our concept so unique is the fact the we – Kelly Johnson and the entire team – create a basic trust between animal and handler with our individual, sensitive and empathetic approach. We put the well-being of each individual animal front and centre. We and our team spend a lot of time on this task with a sense of great responsibility, personal devotion and tender loving care. The exuberance or our four-legged guests in seeing us again is always a powerful confirmation of our unique approach. Individually, we are guided by the wishes of the owners and the needs of their four-legged darlings.
Most pet parents report that “Homestay feel” to our facility is one of the reasons they chose us for overnight care and/or daycare. The idea is to make your dog feel like he or she is staying in a homely environment, as compared to a kennel, in hopes to reduce any ‘away from home’ stress or anxiety.
DOG TRAINING
Only a well-trained and obedient dog can ensure a harmonious and problem-free cohabitation of human and animal. Our guiding principle is not uncompromising demand, but learning with joy, motivation and repetition. For a solid obedience training with the owner, we recommend a 10 classes programme focusing primarily on your wishes and need and the capabilities of your dog.
The training of your dog with me as a certified canine behaviourist takes place in the pet owner’s environment, precisely in areas in which the owner usually has problems with the dog (e.g. on walks, when encountering other dogs, joggers or cyclists, in parks, in the city , in the house, restaurant, car etc. ) It’s essential for us that you as the pet owner take part in the training sessions, so that you can proceed with the same once the training period is over.

DAY CARE
Having your dog regularly attend daycare will be extremely beneficial for the mental, emotional and physical health of your dog. Daycare can provide the opportunity for a dog to create bonds with other dogs and satisfy part of their social needs. Your pet will receive an increased level of exercise as they play throughout the day. Daycare is beneficial regardless of age but the benefit it will provide a puppy cannot be overstated. Having a puppy learn to interact with other dogs and people in a positive manner will make that puppy a much better dog later in life.

DOG BOARDING
At Blacky’s we provide an environment in which a dog will receive individual and group attention. We spent time getting to know each dog so that we can make sure they are as healthy and happy as possible. With our outdoor play area, we can get dogs together in groups and stimulate their daily exercise needs. We also spend time making sure that each dog is in a group of like temperament dogs to ensure that each dog enjoys the group play. Coming home with a dog that is more relaxed, tired, and happy will also improve the quality of time spent with your pet
CAT BOARDING
At Blacky’s BnB our guests live together in a group. We have chosen to look after our cats in a small group and not to place them in cages. The cat room has many places to sleep, hide or play and we try to avoid as much stress as we can. We also have a fenced off playground outside for our cats, so that they can enjoy some fresh air and and watch the birds and squirrels in the surrounding trees. During the day we’ll provide the cats with unlimited food. We serve our guests Royal Canin dry food of the best quality. In the evening we have all kinds of meat and fish for each of them. Whiskas, Sheba, Gourmet or another choice. If your cat has special wishes please let us know!

pick up & drop
We provide pet cab services for our customers who are availing or have availed of our pet boarding services in the past. We're not only driving your pet to our home stay facility but also assist you when you can't drive yourself, e.g. veterinary visits, grooming, airport rides, etc. Our experienced driver, currently the owner of Blacky's BnB, Kelly Johnson, will make sure that your pet will experience a complete stress-free journey. Our car is equipped with AC, comfortable seats, a pawsome dog car seat cover ( water & scratch proof & Nonslip backseat cover). To ensure your pet's safety we provide seat belts to ensure a high standard of protection. Water will be available at all times! In case you as a pet parent will travel along a dedicated seat in front is reserved.
We do charge a minimal fee for rescues and emergencies for street dogs. The money will be used for our charity work for street animals!
